The IRS has notified vendors that they are conducting Disaster Recovery exercises for the next two weekends, which affects the MeF (Modernized e-file system) system.
June 8-10 and June 15-17
This impacts all business efile (federal and state) and also affects 99% of all individual efile.
CCH SFS will discontinue transmitting all MeF returns and receiving acks beginning at 6pm Friday night until 8am Monday morning.
