We are now sending the e-files we have received since 1:30 PM EST and are picking up outstanding acknowledgments. As we receive acks, they are being processed and posted. The

IRS will continue to diligently monitor their systems.

Production System: Non-Operational

ETIN Retrieval Errors Reported in MeF(Posted at 2:30 pm, Eastern on 04/16/2012)

ETIN Retrieval errors have been reported for the MeF Production and ATS systems. We currently have a team working this issue with high priority. Please monitor this page for updates

What does this mean to you?

You can continue sending your e-files and extensions to us. Once the IRS MeF system is in an operational status, we will begin transmitting the returs to them.

I haven't received acknowledgments for returns I have already sent to SFS?

We currently cannot pick up acknowledgments from the IRS. Once the IRS MeF system is in an operational status, we will begin picking up acknowledgments and posting them to you.
